Young adolescents need support in their journey to become independent adults and productive citizens. Out most important part as educators in that journey is to build relationships. That’s the best advice I took out of our visit to Seymour high school. The principle told us that information and I will not forget it. Once you build those relationships students will be more eager to learn and thus you are helping them on their journey to become productive citizens.
